Information

A good old HGS-HIRe tradition returns: The HGS-HIRe Graduate Day!

As the main annual event of the graduate school, the HGS-HIRe Graduate Day will bring together everybody involved with HGS-HIRe, discuss possibilities in our graduate school's program and get an exciting view of the science we are working on. The program consists of scientific presentations by HGS-HIRe participants, information and discussions sessions on the program and the festive 'HIRe Feier' in the evening.

Insight HGS-HIRe sessions will give room to broaden the horizon on the research fields of GSI and FAIR. Short, explanatory presentations will give insight into areas of research different from the own scientific topics.

Shaping the HGS-HIRe Program sessions will provide information about offers of the graduate school and provide a platform to discuss ideas how to potentially optimize the HGS-HIRe program.

A HGS-HIRe Perspectives session is dedicated to the FAIR project and the demanding tasks involved in installing and commissioning the new accelerator complex.

Last but not least, the HGS-HIRe Graduate Day will be traditionally concluded by the HIRe Feier in the evening.
