In the joint Helmholtz-Rosatom School participants of HGS-HIRe and fellows of the FAIR Rusia Research Centre in Moscow will come together
to discuss and learn about various aspects of the new FAIR accelerator complex.
The topics cover all parts of the FAIR project: The accelerators, the experiments and the theories behind. In a series of
expert lectures and group projects the different scientific parts will be elaborated.
Additional time for winter sports activities will give room to meet new people from various groups and collaborations in the community.
Practical Information
Begin/End
The scientific part will start on Sunday evening and will close on Friday evening. An excursion to Moscow will be organised on Saturday. Travel back to Frankfurt will be on Sunday.
Venue
The school will be in Bekasovo close to Moscow/Russia
Travel
Travel is organized centrally by HGS-HIRe. Details will given at a later date. Note that you might need a visa, the necessary document will be send to you after successful registration.

Moscow Airport: February 26. 2012, 10:20
Participants will get an email with the booking code. To check in one needs this booking code together
with a passport. For some countries visa requirements are in place. There
are _no_ paper tickets.
One needs to be at the airport at least _60 minutes_ before departure. Please plan plenty of time for check-in, security checks and finding the right gate. Checkin closes at 07.25 !!!

LH 1453 from Moscow to Frankfurt
Accomodation
Accomodation is mostly in two bed rooms.
Food
Vegetarian food is available for every meal.
Full board is included.
What to bring
Clothing
The school will be very informal, so only casual attire necessary.
Keep in mind that Moscow might be _very_ cold. Check weather forecasts and plan accordingly.
Linen/towel
Linen and towels will be provided.
Internet
Wireless internet access is available. Please bring your own laptop.
Expenses
All basic expenses are covered by HGS-HIRe.
You only have to pay for local expenses (drinks,etc.). All meals are included.
Insurance
Though this trip will not generate any costs for your supervisor or group please
do not forget to file a trip request so you are covered by insurance during the
school. Please ask the secretary of your working group for the appropriate form.
